Pricing is based on age:

‍Annual plan: 10% off when you pay for the full year

Your membership covers:

  • Comprehensive annual physicals

  • Routine visits and chronic condition management

  • Same- or next-day appointments for urgent concerns

  • Perimenopause and menopause care

  • Preventive care and health screenings

  • Telehealth visits by request

  • Phone, text, and portal access to your doctor

  • In-office point-of-care testing (EKG, urinalysis, strep/COVID/flu testing)

  • The option to self-schedule appointments

What is membership-based healthcare?

Unlike traditional insurance-based practices, membership-based healthcare (sometimes called direct primary care, DPC, or concierge medicine) means you pay a monthly or annual fee for increased access to your physician. No copays for office visits. No surprise bills. Just straightforward, unhurried care and direct access to your doctor.

Do I still need health insurance?

We recommend keeping health insurance though it is not required for our practice. Your Copine Health membership covers primary care, but you can utilize insurance for emergency room visits, hospital stays, surgeries, specialist referrals, imaging, lab work, and prescription medications.

Many of our patients pair Copine Health with a high-deductible health plan and use their HSA to cover membership costs.

What about labs and imaging?

Most labs can be done in our office and billed via insurance or a self pay rate. We work with different imaging centers per your insurance or self pay rate.

Do you offer after-hours access?

Yes. Portal messages are monitored during business hours (Monday–Thursday 8am–4pm, Friday 8am–12pm for acute visits only), and you can expect a response within 1–2 business days.

For truly urgent needs that can't wait, you'll have a direct line to reach Dr. French or Dr. Schuler. For medical emergencies, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

What if I change my mind?

Memberships are month-to-month or on an annual basis. If you need to cancel, we require 30 days notice prior to your next payment due date. If you later wish to re-enroll, acceptance will be at the discretion of the physician, and additional fees may apply.

Do you prescribe controlled substances like narcotics or benzodiazepines?

Rarely. We do not prescribe these medications for daily use, but we're happy to help you find a chronic pain specialist or psychiatrist if needed.

How do I get started?

Join our waitlist! We're opening in August 2026, and waitlist members will be the first to know when memberships are available. We'll also invite you to schedule a meet-and-greet (by phone or in person) to make sure Copine Health is the right fit for you.
